We're super-excited to introduce qodo’s Bug Bounty program - your opportunity to show off your bug-busting skills and help us make open-source software even more awesome, reliable, and tested.
You'll be part of a collaborative initiative to sniff out bugs and add tests to Kubescape on GitHub. * ARMO is sponsoring work on Kubescape.
How to get involved?
- Start: Click here & register if you’d like to participate in qodo’s leaderboard and reward program.
- Pick Your Battle: Choose your focus area you wish to improve in Kubescape open-source.
- Bring Out qodo: Use qodo, Co-Pilot or ChatGPT to enhance your skills.
- Bug Hunt: Add tests, find bugs and fix them.
- Submit: Make a Pull Request (PR) and consider best practices, such as making short & simple PRs.
- Get Reviewed: qodo’s bot will automatically review your PR, mostly labeling your PR (“includes a bug-fix”, “includes tests”, “small PR”/”big PR”, etc...) and providing suggestions, all with the purpose of assisting the maintainers and you.
- Collect Your Reward: If your PR gets the green light, you'll score a reward based on qodo’s Bug Bounty campaign's rules.
And the best part?
You're not going solo in this adventure. qodo's Bug Bounty program is all about teamwork. Kubespace maintainers will be attentive and proactive on pull-request reviews. Notice that they might even shine a spotlight on areas they want you to explore. All this camaraderie makes open-source projects the best they can be, making the code world a better place for all of us.

If you conduct tests, discover a bug, and submit an approved Pull Request, you will receive a one-time $50 bonus.

Moreover, you'll accumulate points based on the significance of your contributions:
- $1,500 for the 1st rank
- $1,000 for the 2nd rank
- $500 for the 3rd rank
You can also compete!
- Small bugs/tests/refactor earn you 5 points
- Significant bugs are worth 50 points
- A Test Suite rewards you with 100 points
- Meaningful feature/refactor with a Test Suite acknowledge you with 200 points
- Finding a meaningful bug plus a Test Suite grants a hefty 200 points
