    Create your agent using the toml configuration format. Define instructions, tools, and output.

  2. Create a short demo video (optional, but highly encouraged!)

Internal committee will select the top agents based on judging criteria:

  • Problem fit and usefulness:
    Does the agent solve a real-world problem in software development? Is it clearly addressing a pain point that developers or teams actually face?
  • Workflow integration:
    How well does the agent fit into a real dev environment? Does it connect across tools (e.g. CI, webhooks, GitHub, Slack) and trigger where work actually happens?
  • Adoption potential:
    Is the agent easy to set up, reuse, or extend? Could it realistically be adopted by other developers or teams beyond the original builder?
  • Submit your agent as a pull request to our agent repo: https://github.com/qodo-ai/agents
  • Fill out the Google Form with your user story
  • Demo video (optional but highly encouraged, up to 3-minutes)
  • Post about your video on X, tag @QodoAI and use the hashtag #QodoAgentChallenge

The competition will open on September 17, 2025 and continue for 1 month, closing on October 17, 2025 . Winners will be notified by October 21, 2025.
