Product Designer

About The Position

At Qodo, we’re building an AI Code Review platform that helps developers move fast, ship with confidence, and elevate code quality across the SDLC through deep, scalable codebase understanding.

We’re looking for a product designer who obsesses over user problems and moves fast to solve them. You simplify the complex, find the clearest path through a messy workflow, and care deeply about helping users get to value quickly – especially in a product where AI insights are only useful if people actually discover and trust them.

You bring strong UX fundamentals and sharp execution. And on top of that, you use modern tools – Claude, Figma MCP, Cursor, as genuine force multipliers, not as an identity. AI is how you move faster, not what you lead with.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll design across our web platform, IDE extension, and Git workflows — products used by developers who notice when something feels off.

What you’ll do

  • Design end-to-end experiences for developer-facing products, from early concepts to shipped features
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data; you’re comfortable in a Notion doc, a Linear ticket, and a Figma file in the same afternoon
  • Prototype with fidelity appropriate to the question – sometimes a Figma flow, sometimes a working HTML/React component
  • Design for scale from day one – you always think about edge cases, permissions, multi-user flows, and enterprise complexity
  • Move fast and iterate based on real developer feedback

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product design experience in SaaS or B2B – developer tools experience is a strong advantage
  • Strong UX foundations and sharp UI craft
  • Systems thinker who can handle complex, interconnected product surfaces
  • Actively uses AI tools in your workflow – Claude, Lovable, Figma MCP, or similar
  • Deep Figma proficiency – components, variants, auto layout, and building design system assets that engineers actually want to use
  • Collaborative and direct – you give clear feedback and can receive it with a smile

Bonus points for:

  • Experience designing developer tools or technical workflows
  • Degree in visual communication or interaction design
