Product Designer

About The Position

Qodo is an early-stage startup that empowers developers with cutting-edge tools that integrate seamlessly into their daily workflows. We specialize in GenAI-driven solutions, such as, IDE extensions for automated test generation, an AI-enhanced pull-request git agent for improving code review processes., RAG, and others. Our mission is to generate confidence for developers, enhancing productivity and code quality.

We’re looking for a Product Designer who combines deep UX thinking with a passion for creating smooth, user‑centric experiences that make complex systems feel simple. You’ll work on products built by developers, for developers – designing interfaces that integrate deeply into their daily workflows.

This is a hands-on design role with significant impact. You’ll define user experiences across our web, IDE, and platform tools, collaborating closely with product, R&D, and data to make sure every feature feels natural, fast, and valuable. As a product designer at Qodo you’ll get to influence the direction of rapidly growing products in an emerging market. 


What You’ll Do:

  • Simplify complexity – transforming advanced technical workflows into intuitive experiences
  • Design sophisticated, top quality web applications for technical users.
  • Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and analysts to define problems and validate solutions.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system across multiple platforms.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing with developers.
  • Move fast: prototype, test, learn, repeat. Our feedback loop is fast and direct.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For 

  • 5+ years of product design experience in SaaS or complex B2B applications.
  • Strong UX foundations and a systems-thinking approach to design.
  • High-level UI craft – precision, consistency, and strong visual hierarchy.
  • A natural collaborator who works closely with developers and understands technical constraints.
  • Curious, analytical, and comfortable in fast-paced, iterative environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma. Enthusiasm for staying current with design trends and emerging AI capabilities.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience designing developer tools, configuration/permissions systems
  • Familiarity with code or dev workflows
  • Degree in Visual Communication Design from one of the recognized academies.
